Hey!

My name is Maja Hart and I'm your fitness guru, energetic cheerleader, and biggest supporter when it comes to your own health journey. I thrive in helping ordinary people achieve extraordinary feats of fitness in a fun, yet focused environment. This comes from an innate desire to educate others on the joys of training hard and living a truly fruitful life.

As you can probably tell, I am not your ordinary personal trainer, and that is most likely due to the fact that I didn't start out as one on my career path. I am a former English teacher and my career in education spans over 15 years, several universities, high schools, middle schools, private schools, and special education schools.

​

I made the career switch in 2020 during the height of the Covid pandemic when I realized that my time teaching young impressionable minds needed to shift to educating adults about being healthy and fit. I started off as a part-time CrossFit coach even before that in 2018 and then made the final decision to quit my teaching job and become a business owner. I founded MyFit Personal Training LLC, obtained my NASM certifications, along with specializations in strength training and Pain-Free Performance, as well as Pre- and Post Natal trainer specialization, and I hit the ground running.

What motivates me to continue educating others about leading healthier lives through strength training is my own physical limitations including scoliosis, cervical spine issues, and migraines. I know that if I can train hard, eat well, and become a competitive Olympic Weightlifter, so can anyone else with the right guidance. I've gone from being a frail, cardio obsessed girl, who was letting her back pain prevent her from enjoying life, to a strong, muscular, and confident weightlifter who enjoys lifting heavy and eating well. And I know I can do the same for you!​

I am here to give you a boost, physically and mentally! I will teach you about the movements that will help you become a stronger, more confident version of yourself. I will guide you in the ways of fueling your body properly with the right balanced nutrition. And I promise to make it fun, exciting, and something to celebrate on the daily!
